Anticipation

A splendid afternoon spent in the directors box watching the Hibees put two past Inverness. With the added benefit for me of watching a young Liverpool FC star in the making who we have on loan at Hibs at the moment, he had a very impressive game in the middle of the park.

The boys had already downed a gallon of sugary carbonated liquid in the directors lounge and the game was thirty minutes away so they were happy to hang out in an empty stadium watching the teams warm up. I sneaked out for a quick blip before heading back in to make the most of Hibs hospitality. Lamb tagine with couscous, you don't get that in the cheap seats you know. Being somewhat of a traditionalist, I stuck to the pies.
