weekend away

We've got away for the weekend, staying in an old manor house in the Warwickshire countryside deliberately doing not very much. We went for a very long walk earlier, along the canal that goes through the hotels grounds and then off towards a village for a pub lunch. I had a couple of pints of real ale with my lunch and we chatted and watched the old boys playing dominos. On the way back the weather had brightened up and I was very impressed with how green the landscape was, and took loads of pictures with this camera. I almost forgot to get an iPhone snap for my blip!

Unfortunately our wanderings took us over the M42 motorway but the view from the bridge was good and the road adds contrast to the scene.
