Windswept and interesting.......
Dimairt and I did a wee tour of the garden this afternoon, ostensibly to see what I could make a start on, but I just happened to have the camera with me. I'm still enjoying the new lens. I tried it on the 'macro' setting today, but didn't make head nor tail of it - so far. (I nearly wrote 'hide nor tail of it', and something didn't look quite right. I realised I was mixing up 'head nor tail' and 'hide nor hair'....... time for a drink, I think)
I caught Dimairt sitting very still, waiting for the moment to arrive! The moment? Ah, well, he had spotted my friend Jill with Oliver, (her big English mastiff) going down the road, and he knew that they would have to come back the same way.
This is him girding his loins for the duty run - barking and running up and down at the fence, to let Jill and Oliver know that they are allowed on the road in front of our house only under sufference. He always looks very proud of himself once he has sent them packing
I now await the sarcastic comments of my brother......... I think I will actually be disappointed if he doesn't come up with some new way to put Dimairt out of his 'misery', as he calls it.
