Dresden Figurine

This little lady was rescued from the ruins of Dresden after the war by my grandmother. My grandfather was part of the British forces stationed there. The families were able to go as well but according to what my grandmother told me they had to remain in a compound, only allowed out under armed escort. She must have picked up this lady on one of her forays out of the compound. When I was growing up I always admired her so she is now here in Australia.
