A Pleasant Introduction to Staithes
On the spur of the moment Rebecca booked a cottage in Staithes, on the North Yorkshire coast. What an inspired choice!
We left Leeds with a couple of inches of snow and an hour and a half later, we were a world away. This blip was taken on a twilight walk to orient ourselves within the village. Yellow street lights cast shadows, gulls cried on the cliffs and we were surrounded by the comforting smell of coal fires.
I'll be posting more of Staithes HERE later today.
We loved every minute!
