Gold Show

This is my booth at our local gold show. I'm so not into gold. I wear silver, and I don't go for the whole gold panning, dredging thing, but so many people do. Lot's of people are getting into the gold thing now that the economy is so down. What most of them don't know is that panning for gold is grueling work with very little payback, and dredging equipment is expensive. Then, people who do find gold rarely ever sell it. They are usually so thrilled, they make it into jewelry or just show it off.

So, give me rocks and gems any day. And, then there's all the people who start looking for gold and end up rockhounds because rocks are so much more interesting! :)
