I do like to be beside the seaside.

Despite its lack of sandy beach, I do love going to Brighton - there's always something new to discover.

I've always particularly liked this little shop, which sells various nautical knick-knacks as well as their very own stunning photographs of scenes in and around the area. Wouldn't surprise me if they were blippers!

The main reason I like it, though, is that it's about the same distance from the sea as I would like to live. I always imagine the owner spending the summer there, sleeping on a camp bed in the back and falling asleep every night to the sound of the waves.

Of course, the dream is shattered a bit when looking in the other direction, towards the fish & chip and souvenir shops!


Edit: One of my friends has just told me that they looked at the pictures in this shop a few years ago, just after her now-husband had proposed! Altogether now... aaaaaawwww! :-)
