Surf and Turf

Not a good day! I spent most of it trying to put together a flat pack book case. It looks so easy in the instructions! Then Mrs Life in Newburgh's trusty old car ground to a halt in the middle of the city. Despite everyone's best efforts it remained deceased and had to be taken home on a flat-bed truck. Mega-expense looms!

As a result, today's blip has been taken in some haste. This verdant object is an old large whale vertebra that sits next to our garden pond and acts as a seat on hot summer days. Over the years it has become carpeted with mosses and lichens. Hence, surf and turf!
