Unexpected day out
After a slight incident with the wrong fuel in a car yesterday we had to change plans for today and rather than being taken back up to Edinburgh I was to have an extra day down home.
We packed sandwiches, filled the flask and headed out with Clickychick, Chippy, my dad and Ash (the dog) to Ambleside in the hope of seeing some wild otters. We were lucky enough to see one but not close enough to get a decent shot.
Once we'd decided there was no chance of seeing them any closer we headed off to Wray Castle for a nice walk along the lake. I had forgotten to take a spare memory card and had soon exhausted my photo opportunities so busied myself with Ash. He's very good at fetch but hasn't got the hang of dropping the stick again.
My other option for today was a shot of blippers blipping. They spent a lot of time at this fence, I couldn't see the intrest to be honest but my mum managed to make it interesting
