This is where yesterdays eggs went:

Be invited to a slice of Egg Liquor Birthday Cake (or at least a look at it).

The eggs went inside the torte, along with finely ground hazelnuts and ground chocolate, baked last night and this morning topped with whipped cream. The yellow lake on top is egg liquor, which will run down the single pieces when cut. In the fridge now till the guests arrive.

Have to go now; need to prepare the gratineted sheep's cheese for tonight.
