Burning Sensation In My Ear

At work today, I felt this burning sensation in my ear. My coworker checked in on me and I asked him to look at it. There was a raw open wound. It looked like someone had bit my ear! Then all the pieces from the previous days came together and I figured it happened when I got my hair done. While the hairdresser was flat ironing my hair with the 400+ degree straightener, he grazed against my ear. I haven't felt the repercussions until today, a week later. Oddly enough, I got a courtesy call from the hair salon later that afternoon. They had left a message but instead of returning the call, I will be paying them a visit tomorrow.
