Pao de Azucar

Had a lovely lunch day today with two colleagues who I worked with a couple of years ago when I ran a teacher training course here in Rio. It was great catching up with Valeria and Maria Eugenia again and this was the amazing view of Sugar Loaf Mountain which we enjoyed from the restaurant in Botafogo! It's also open at night so Bb and I may have to come back here It's actually in a shopping centre on the 7th floor and it's quite common to find very good restaurants in shopping centres in Brazil. I didn't go the flat today, but Bb went for the daily inspection and progress is being made - all the rubbish from the bathroom walls tidily packed into rubbish bags and the removal of the wall tiles has started. It's a shame we need walls for the bathroom as the flat looks bigger without them!
