Bored? NOT!!!!!

I feel the need to explain my day today because I've been asked a few times lately what I'm going to do now that my youngest started kindergarten. I think people have a difficult time grasping that I can still be fulfilled being a "stay-at-home" mom with all the kids now in school. I still have a puzzled look sometimes when I get that question. Do people think I'm bored or doing nothing? Sitting home eating bon bons? With 3 children, something is always coming up where I want/need to be at a classroom performance, someone calls me because they are sick and need to come home early, I'm helping in a classroom or various other projects, or just packing up for another night of activities. So here is one day, broken down to a minute-by-minute play-by-play of a "stay-at-home" mom's day (for those concerned I'm bored). This was today:

*5:45 wake up and get a quick shower
*6:20 wake kids
*6:30 make breakfast for 3 hungry boys
*6:45 make and pack 3 lunches for 3 hungry boys
*7:15 remind distracted boys over and over again that we're leaving in 5 minutes while making their bed head hair presentable because "Mom, my wings won't go down"
*7:20 leave to pick up another boy to take to school
*7:30 arrive at boys house and take Loren and boy to middle school
*7:45 take Liam and Landon to elementary school
*7:55 walk Landon to class because I'm thrilled he still wants to hold mommy's hand right up to the classroom door :)
*8:15 drive-thru coffee so I can officially wake up and catch up on e-mails from my iPhone in parking lot
*9:15 arrive at Grandma's house to take her to her hair appt.
*9:30 drop off at hair salon
*9:45 run home and let the dog out again, start laundry, wash dishes, empty trash cans, etc.
*10:30 leave again to pick up grandma at the salon
*10:45 arrive at salon and take her home
*11:00 arrive back home and start another load of laundry, back up my pictures and documents to the new portable hard drive since my laptop had crashed. Hoping it's fixable.
*12:15 leave to pick up Landon from school (Wednesday's are minimum day)
*12:30 arrive at school and get Landon and leave to get Loren from middle school
*12:50 pick up Loren and go back to the elementary school to wait for Liam's violin lessons to be over
*1:30 pick up Liam and Cody from violin
*2:00-2:20 attend Liam's student-led conference and set 3 new goals (1 writing, 1 reading and 1 math)
*2:20-3:00 review all of the books at the book fair with 4 boys who have the case of the "I wants". Bought 1 book per boy after narrowing it down.
*3:00-4:15 Feed after school snacks to hungry boys again (McDonalds hot fudge sundaes, because well, they are only $1). AND do/review homework with all of them AND empty out backpacks of what schoolwork I will be keeping. Signed their Wednesday folders all the well spurting off to Loren what he needs to pack for a night of both baseball and soccer.
*4:15-5:30 Loren's baseball practice
*5:30 Loren changes in the van for soccer practice.
*5:30-7:00 take Loren to soccer practice and hope his brothers can entertain themselves running around the field since they've been dragged everywhere
*7:30 Drive-through of Arbys because this "stay at home" mom didn't have time to cook.
*7:30-8:30 dinner, medicines, showers AND BEDTIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know, I know. This play-by-play of my day was a bit ridiculous........however, it was simply meant to answer this question.........
"AREN'T YOU READY TO GO BACK TO WORK NOW THAT YOUR BOYS ARE ALL IN SCHOOL?". This IS my job and I'm happy with it (most of the time). Can you just be happy with it too?
