The tool kit

I realised this morning whilst trying to beat my hair into submission that like most self-righteous, opinionated people, I am actually a great big (well teeny tiny) hypocrite. I always feel quietly smug about not being materialistic, I don't have a big TV because I don't want one, I don't have a big car because I wouldn't be able to park it, I don't own a single item of designer clothing and I don't ever intend to. BUT, show me a shiny bottle, put someone's name on it and tell me that it will banish my frizz and I'll buy it without question!
But then, the alternative would be to shave my head, so technically I do need it.
