Can you please start the music already?
You see. He's not a musician, it's his first performance since he was 12 years old. Well actually he didn't really play. He is a professor, a great one. One of those that can make the things they tell seem so much more interesting. He is a great story teller, a great professor and incredibly intelligent.
As I mentioned last week he was holding his "Last Lecture". Meaning a lecture that moves the audience, where we get a little insight into someone's life and learn something from it in the process. It are not ordinary lectures, the audience leaves the room with something more than that.
This photo was taken when Randall Lesaffer was going to play a song because his great friend Gianmarai Testa said the day before he wasn't going to come and he had to sing it himself. Then when he is ready to start, the music from the CD starts to play.
Interested in watching? Please click here to view the lecture. (If possible think link will be replaced by the edited video, there was live streaming and so the first part is preperations and people entering the room. The introduction starts at 23.50, and the lecture itself starts at 25.55.)
