THE RUINS OF THE KRUKENBURG

and the Johanneskapelle are situated on the hill above Helmarshausen.
In the annals of 1220 the Krukenburg is for the first time mentioned.
Today my plan was to walk along the Diemel, cross it and approach the ruins via the Diemelhöhe, and visit the donkeys there (no feeding allowed), and if possible take a photo. It was a cold but nice walk.
Later in the day I fed the swans, got the horses of the Eisenbahnerheim some carrots and yes I have to eat too, bought an aubergine.
If I ever thought what kind of photographs could I take here, I do know now!
