Freedom!!!

well, for half an hour at least.

This is a picture of Edna, one of two ex-battery hens (the other is Florence) that we rescued last week. They are being kept separate from our other chickens at the moment in their own coop and run. Today they were let out into the garden for the first time. They even went over to the other run to say 'hello' to the big chickens.
