Who lives here?

Think it is a little Scottish Kelpie who hides in the bottom of this tree by the riverside, a water sprite with pale lilac wings & a jade body.....she only appears to folk who believe she exists...........

The Scots Dialect Dictionary describes the kelpie thus..
a water sprite
a river horse
a raw boned youth
so of the 3 the water sprite is the only one who is small enough to live at the bottom of this tree.

Do not like the river horse, it entices people on to its back, which turns sticky and they are stuck, it then jumps into the river & drowns the person on its back...In other countries it comes by other names.
