Bridge Series Photo # 7

The George, GWB, the good ole George Washington Bridge. According to SOME this is the busiest vehicular bridge in the world. I believe it as every time you hear a traffic report they mention traffic on the Cross Bronx Expressway to be backed up to Boston in one direction and in the other direction the traffic at the tolls are backed up to somewhere in the hinterlands of Jersey ;)

One thing I can say about this bridge is that it is scary as hell to walk across (not just because you end up in Washington Heights (joking)) but because it feels you are a mile above the Hudson and the 4 foot railing seems, well 4 feet. But I would totally recommend walking over this bridge if in NYC, the view is amazing.
