well on wednesday i wrote printed signed and posted on recorded delivery a letter to my landlord detailing exactly where the law sits on his flakey aproche to his responcability as a landlord mostly about failing to even atempt to repair the leak in my roof but also to point out that section 11 paragraph 6 of the landlord and tenant act 1985 states a landlord must give ALL tenants 24 hours notice prior to atending the property unless invited by said tenants. i imajin this got to him on thursday because when i got home gav said we had had a phone call from him saying he was cominground the next day to temporeraly fix my leak, today he put up a water proof layer in the loft and promised to get the tiles replaced as soon as he could. its amazing what a few words of encouragement can do
