His Turn

Just got home from Dad's Rotator Cuff Surgery. No time to blip after the day's events so it's his turn. He agreed to be my blip since I'm his nurse for tonight. His left eye is droopy as a result of the sleepy drug. Last surgery he came home with a black eye. Not sure what he said to the doc that made that happen lol.

As you can see in the right hand corner, Furby is guarding him. I had just gone in to remove him from the recliner that will serve as Dad's bed for a week. Furby's in a bit of trouble since he growled at me as I picked him up and put him on the floor. Seems to me he has forgotten whose house this is or maybe I'm deceived, perhaps it's his house and I just get to pay all the bills.

Dad had the right shoulder done last August, the recovery time is 6 months for full use. This one should go a little smoother since he is right handed. He is stubborn and doesn't do well sitting still for long. He tried to convince me he was fine to drive home just an hour after waking up from anesthesia, HA!
