Soup
Spent an interesting and enjoyable morning visiting the John Soane's Museum. As you are not allowed to take photos inside, I thought I would have to settle for a blip of the queue on the outside. However, afterwards I decided to go for lunch and all I really wanted was a bowl of homemade soup. Fortunately this little seasonal sandwich shop had just what I was looking for, and the staff/owners were very friendly. So I highly recommend In Season in New Oxford Street - a huge bowl of steaming and delicious tomato and basil soup and a large granary roll with butter, all for under #3. Not bad for the centre of London!
