Monochrome bleu (IKB 175)

Colour, colour colour.

You can stand with your back to this and feel it pulsating though you. Simple, tantalizing and bleu.

Have you ever listened to the people around you in a museum? They say the silliest things, not stupid, just silly.I was on my own so I could listen otherwise I would be saying silly things too. I wonder why. Do we feel the need to fill the space? Do we feel unworthy, or have to show that we have understood?

I have a friend who has written and illustrated a book on the subject. She has one delightful drawing where you see a French Lady with her fur coat and handbag on the bench next to where she is sat. She and her husband/date/brother are looking at Yves Klein's "bleu" and she is saying "well I wouldn't have used THAT blue"
