An oil producing nation...

Dreary morning in Auld Reekie, and I'm in a pensive mood.

If we believe the jokers that call themselves 'politicians', then we live in one of the richest nations on earth, and have an economy to match.

Why then is every single public service under dire threat, and record numbers of people sleeping rough? I know the myriad reasons for homelessness are beyond the scope of a Blip, but it just feels wrong.

And don't get me started on charity muggers...this poor woman on the left was in the hands of a particularly animated chugger as I past by - wonder if she has escaped yet?
