Hobbit for a day

As our last highlight before flying back home, we visited the Hobbiton LOTR film set near Matamata. Originally, we had not planned to do this considering it as a rip-off and far too touristic. However, as we had heard from other travelers, the whole set had been rebuilt and extended for the soon to start filming of "The Hobbit". This had luckily changed our mind because the set by far exceeded all our expectations. You really had the impression that people lived there. Unfortunately, we all had to sign non-disclosure agreements. So I cannot post any photographs from the set. - Only this one showing myself in the role of the smaller brother ;-)
