a little more green...

This is my spider plant... Well, one of many... This one is special though... When my father-in-law passed, we went to the place he lived to clean out his personal effects... He loved plants, but had a very small place, so there wasn't much room for even hanging a pot... This plant, and another variety, were basically dead... But, for some reason I decided to make it my mission to bring them back... It was literally down to 2 or 3 mostly green, but somewhat brownish strips of life... It's been over 5 years now, and the plant is now it lush, healthy, and reproducing!

I was able to clip an offspring and offer them to my husband's family members... I don't know why, but I feel like I've kept a little part of Jonathan alive...

Today was a pretty strange day overall... ups and downs and the like... But, ultimately, I am feeling pretty good!

This is a great place... I love it! Hooray for blip! I can't believe that I have actually done 10 in a row... I am not usually very good with follow through... This is a big deal for me!
