Orchid

An up and down day today. Doctor first thing and referred to the eye specialist. Was going to be sent down to the specialist in Inverness, but luckily he is actually doing a clinic in Orkney at the moment so can see him up here tomorrow!

Our friends are coming up tomorrow so round checking their house today and spotted this orchid flowering. So beautiful - I love orchids and a few years ago accompanied my parents to Madeira, where I was able to have a real fix of them! I used to have quite a few, but just have one or two now - unfortunately none on mine are flowering at the moment! Just have to take photos of other peoples!
