I don't know about you, but I find lists helpful! They keep me on track as there's usually a million ideas in my head ALL demanding attention ....... !

I also love using a fountain pen! Despite iPhone 4, despite MacBook Pro, despite all the Mac technology at my disposal in this studio - and 3G buzzing around the ether - there's something very theraputic in this data driven age, of the simplicity of ink and paper.

You also get ink smudges on your fingers .... a bit like earth under your finger nails when you've been planting tubers in the Spring.
