Sam 'N Ella

Yes, another pun. But seriously this is Sam, the monkey, purchased from Edinburger Zoo last year on our annual pilgrimage and his owner, Ella. Ella had a great day today - learnt a song about where we live at nursery and has been generally very charming to everyone. I think she's up to something.

Good day at work today - got up to date with marking, folios are starting to trickle in and managed to get away on time...happy days!

Going to watch The Social Network tonight, had a TV marathon last night catching up on loads of stuff I'd sky+'d over the last week: Being Human, Boardwalk Empire, True Blood, The Tudors and the fantastically addictive One Born Every Minute. I was waiting for P driving up the road from Glasgow so it was the perfect opportunity to catch up on telly that he normally balks at (he is of the opinion that if it isn't Top Gear, House or Ice Road Truckers, it's probably not worth bothering yourself to switch on).
