Utility.

It's such a classy word, isn't it. Classy and effective. Utilitarian, even.

Today the work that started in earnest some months ago - before the start of 2011 and before snomageddon (it wasn't that bad, was it?) - was finished. We've been blessed with a working area at the back of the garage (alongside various bikes and bits of musical equipment).

It's one of those *things* we wanted to get done when we moved in. And now we have.

Which has to feel good.
