Beautiful Dancer

There are not many ornaments in this house, but one of my favourites is this ballerina that I got for my 50th birthday from my daughter.

To take the picture, I sat it on a table in front on the window with the light shining on her face. I used my monopod for the first time today and I think it made a difference as I do suffer from shaky hands. I was surprised how easy it was to screw on to the camera, and to adjust the leg.

Sitting her on the sofa with a blanket wrapped round my waist watching The Good Wife, another one of my favourite American dramas.

I did notice tonight that it was lighter longer, and that was a day when the sun did not shine (again).
