Honey we're home (again)....
.....and so it ends. Four days of culture vulturing, feasting upon the many tasty bits that London has to offer, and yet we barely scratched the surface.
Despite insisting we'd hear Chris head off to work at 6.30am, we didn't, and the boy and I only woke when he fell out of bed at 8.30am. A swift wash and pack and then off to the Museum of London via Bean, which serves the heart-stoppingly good coffee I mentioned yesterday. Nice to have a genuine alternative to CostaBucks on your doorstep Chris.
The Museum of London is brilliant. Definitely my fave of the weekend....and not just because it appears largely ignored by the heaving terrorist masses. The London Street Photography expo was excellent too; it's a presentation from the Museum's own collection and they have some superb images dating to the 1860s. I always find the 1940s and 1970s images the most evocative.
Reluctantly we turned north after lunch and arrived home in Embra this evening to greet hard-working Mum. We have missed her you know.
