Local colour

Went for a stroll down by the Water of Leith.

When I got to here, it struck me that I was looking at a scene containing a sequence of events.

First, there was nature; all trees, and birds and mud and stuff.

Next there was ingenuity; perfect lines, brick, stone and steel, chimney and tunnel and railway.

Finally there was some toerag with a spray can and no imagination, celebrating the post-ingenuity age.

Still, made for a colourful blip.
