The Mouth of the Tyne
Taken from Tynemouth, underneath the Priory.
There was a distinct lack of any contrast, the skies were grey, there was a bitterly cold wind blowing off the North Sea. I started taking black and white images but wasn't happy with the results, although some will appear in my blipfolio later.
I tried St Mary's Lighthouse at first but just couldn't get the blip I was after.
It came down to a choice of two andthis one shaded it.
I hope that I captured the coldness and bleakness of the day but added a splash of colour in the sand and seaweed.
