This may be the closest I'll ever get to a hummingbird-- about 10 feet or so. H & I went to the Portland Nursery intending to do macros on flowers and get a water hose nozzle. She spotted this little fella in a hothouse where a hummingbird feeder hangs from the ceiling. This bird is tiny, probably a third smaller than yesterday's birdblip.
