The Lucky Scarf

You get given it on the big day-the first time you're allowed to go to a football match. Its way too long but you love it anyway. You keep the same one for years and years thinking if you don't wear it your team may suffer the consequences. Its old, scraggly and starting to fall apart but you wear it with pride.

Today my lucky scarf was worn. It did the job and now half of Glasgow is celebrating. It's put back on its hook safe and ready for the next game.
