Accident!

Went out for a wonderfully sunny and long walk with a friend today, and we happened upon this accident when it had just happened. I felt kinda intrusive taking the shot, but I decided to keep it and use it for today's blip anyway. Getting out of my comfort zone and all that! (There's one car missing in the pic as you can probably tell, it was moved after 5 minutes or so to allow the moving traffic more room.)

We stayed watching as first the ambulance showed (only one person needed immediate attention), and then these two fire trucks that finally secured the accident site and made other cars aware that they had to slow down and change lanes (up until then we were just waiting for another accident to happen on account of this one...), and then finally, after about 15-20 minutes or so, the police showed and we decided it was time to continue our walk.

I just remembered: My blip yesterday was one-starred! First time it has ever happened to me. I was almost flattered ;)
