My niece is a very stylish dresser - she was preening and posing this morning, and demanding that I tell her that she looked nice! I responded with a laugh, saying that she was vain. She asked me for a definition of this new word to her vocabulary. I explained and awaited her reaction with bated breath... She nodded once in agreement and smiled a smile of acceptance.
