Slight confusion!

Not sure about you, but if I'm in a situation where it could threaten my safety I would hope for direct and clear instructions. Check out exhibit A. (Image above). What does one do when they see a triangle with an exclamation mark inside it? Remember, you're in a bad situation and you have to act fast...Surely the exclamation mark symbolises or exclaims the pure panic one will be in when having to choose which triangle to go with...The mind boggles :)
