Wings
A short cycle ride from our house takes me to the UEA (University of East Anglia) campus, which is very green and includes the man-made UEA Broad. Today there was a very bold family of swans just asking to be photographed.
I really didn't think I'd got anything special as they were moving pretty quickly so I moved on and got some amazing photos of ivy on tree bark, and some very spectacular images of fungi. And I was so carried away taking photos I slipped and got covered in dog crap .... but that's another story. And my camera wasn't damaged in any way.
I honestly thought today's blip was going to be one of the fungi. Until I got home and saw this closeup of the wing feathers of one of the young swans. Isn't it amazing, the lovely surprises that come out of our cameras?
