Teak

Spent the day on the boat, fitted the blocks for a new clew outhaul, measured up a new reef pennant, made a chain up for the bobstay to replace a lanyard and started on the teak housing for the centreboard case.
Very pleasing, it's a nice piece of teak faced ply and I've got a bundle of different sized sawn teak that's from 3/4 inch square up to two and a half by half that I'm using for the framing. I ran the planer over a bit and it came up really well. Should improve the look no end and hide the raw fibreglass of the centreboard case.
The governor's been making bar bags.
Off to art class tomorrow - acrylics on wood.....
