Graduation

I went to a graduation party for some of our neighbors today. In Thailand, middle school and high school is divided into two parts, three years each. After graduating from the first three years (around the age of 14 or 15), some students choose to start working instead of continue studying. Students are not required to go on to study the last three years, but it is still encouraged and must be finished before beginning to study at university.

This little girl is far from either graduation point, but the picture was too cute to pass up. She is the daughter of one of the restaurant owners near the dorm, so we get to see her often. I was happy to see her and her big sister (who comes to English classes at the dorm) having fun at the party.
