Caroline Bay

Same place as yesterday's blip, same sort of conditions, overcast & cool. But can you believe the sign imprinted in the wooden seat - how stupid do they think we are!!!???????? The top image is the boardwalk also and leads away from the sea towards the town, The orange roofed building is the Hydro Grand Hotel which I took on a sunny day and explained a little about it. Our bay is had revamp over the last few years and is rather beautiful I think, attracting tourists especially in the summer months.

We went for a walk with our visitors before having lunch at a restaurant further down the hill from the orange roofed building. Very very nice.

We have had a superb weekend, with old friends - we all date back to our school days, those friendships are priceless.
