Practice set up

This is my practice set up in the house.

My full stage/studio set up is just to big and noisy for our kitchen.

Been doing a fair bit recently. Widdling away on this "blue sparkly guitar" and generally making a noise with it.

We have the last 12 hours in the studio on Monday and Tuesday evening. Last 12 hours to get everything we want on our new album into the "can".

It has been a joy to be part of. Pleased it is nearly finished as it has been a lot of work and a lot of patience and precious time that families have let us be absent.

The result, 14 Brand new Lorelei tracks for release in May 2011.

Although we want it to end to have the final product of us, The Lorelei, captured. We don't want the end of the creative process in the studio environment to happen. A genuinely odd feeling and one that differs, for me, from any other recording we have done in the past.

Is this a good sign? Who knows? Apart from anything else I just hope we enjoy it.
