A guilty thing surprised...

Appalling weather and a busy day with friends left virtually no time for photography - one appalling image of a waxwing taken during a rainy dog walk was the sum total of the day's proceedings.

So my chosen blip is my son Alex, caught warming his hand underneath the anglepoise lamp during dinner - I never realised our house was so cold! The reddish tint comes from a layer added during processing - to give it a more surreal feeling.

Thanks for all the lovely comments and favourites for yesterday's blip. I was a bit hesitant posting a photograph of moss as I didn't think it was that interesting! The photograph was taken indoors, and the lighting was provided by a ring-flash held to the side of the camera, with the camera itself mounted on a tripod.
