The (not) Red Weed...

Yeah I know its not red but as I took a walk to my Sister-in-Law's house I spotted this very, very old fence with the dying remains of whatever it was and instantly thought about H.G. Wells and the Red Weed creeping over the land in War of the Worlds.

I'm a bit annoyed because today was the first time of my short Blip career when I struggled to pick which shot I'd use. I ended up with four pictures I really liked and found it hard to decide. This one won on the basis that it is vegetation that might not look or exist like that next time I go past it, the others have a pretty good chance of still being around (maybe)...
