A dangerous river
Although this photo shows an idyllic scene , danger lurks below.
The River Leven I think is the second fastest flowing river in Scotland next to the Spey, but the dangers is unseen.
When the tide is out there are rapids at this point which do not disappear when the waters flow in.
The undercurrents are deadly and can drag you down river ,under water right to the clyde about a mile away.
Next week I will snap the rapids when the tide is out and it is unbelieveable
The shot looks better in sepia as the light was terrible
