Another ferry!

7.30am start, had a lovely homecooked Islay breakfast and a good natter with the landlady. We had just got into the car and were heading for Port Ellen to get the ferry when Calmac texted to say the ferry would now be leaving from Port Askaig at the opposite end of the island! AFter a hurried 3 point turn we headed off in the opposite direction. Got there and drove down in to the ferry que, Clare said "oo we are early look first in the q" then a wee yellow welly Calmac man came and said, " are you going to Kennacraig?" "but of course" said I. "ach well you would be wanting to be in that other que then" said he pointing to a huge line of cars! oops, we had to emabrrisingly go round Port Askaigs one way system then to get back round into the right que! eejits we were.
The journey was fine, just a few wee swells but made it and got home. Going to go with #1 daughter for food in the lovely George hotel in Inverary later.
