Early morning on the marsh

Got up early for a walk on Stanpit Marsh to find a very different scene - much of the marsh was flooded and despite high wellies I failed the test and had a bootful! I love the marsh because it differs every day but I must remember to check the tides. This shot looks towards Mudeford spit and the Isle of Wight far away - normally much of this is marshland with wading birds present but as you can see not today though there were still some spots for them elsewhere.

I havent blipped or commented for ages - life has been a bit hectic - nice to be back
