My Axe

I reckon it must have been the hottest day this summer today. Around lunchtime Jo and I were forced to retreat into the air conditioned hose to watch a movie and wait out the heat of the day.

Casino Royale. It wasn't bad.

I chopped down a tree this morning, not with the axe though. With Jo's help, the extension ladder and a bow saw I got most of it down. Then I used the chainsaw at ground level to finish the job. The tree was right where out solar panels are.

We also tidied up the garage now that my stove restoration is finished(ish). It was hot in there so we took our time.

It's now 7.45pm and I am knackered. I might have an early night.

Tomorrow I am going to take the boat out for the first time in ages.
